KINDERGARTEN
The Traditional Kindergarten program is designed to be the foundation
for each child’s lifelong education. Each
child is respected and recognized as a unique individual. Students are taught that God is pleased when we respect ourselves and others
around us. Students’ growth is nurtured in physical, social and emotional
development. The Traditional Kindergarten program focuses on an academic environment
with the goals of mastering beginning phonics and reading skills. Students also
participate in chapel, music, library and physical education.

I'm so
excited to be a part of the ACA family! I have a passion for
teaching, and I'm thankful for the opportunity to use my passion to serve the
Lord. The Lord blessed me by allowing me to grow up in a Christian home
and in a small Christian school in Indiana. When I was 5 years old, a
Bible club teacher shared God's plan of salvation with me, and I came to know
Christ as my personal Savior. Since that day, the Lord has given me many
opportunities to serve in my local church and Christian school.
After high school, I moved to Iowa to attend Faith Baptist Bible College here in
Ankeny. I recently graduated with a B.S. in Elementary Education.
While at Faith, I met my husband, and we were married in May 2005. My
husband also graduated from Faith and is now enrolled in the seminary there.
