 "For my thoughts are not your thoughts, nor are your ways My ways says the Lord, for as the heavens are higher than the earth so are My ways higher than your ways, and My thoughts than your thoughts."  Isaiah 55:8,9

God used these verses to convince me that going back to Faith Baptist Bible College when I was "fifty something" was not out of the question according to His ways and thoughts.  His steady pressure upon my heart and mind led me to enroll in college and finish my degree in Elementary Education.  It was a long three years but my family and a very faithful husband helped me finally finish the task that God had asked me to do.  I was sent to ACA for my student teaching and I graduated in May of 2002.  The ACA Board extended me a teaching contract that same year and I am now teaching 2nd grade. 

My husband has been serving the Lord at Faith Baptist Bible College since 1999. 

Our son and daughter are both grown and married and we have 4 wonderful grandchildren.  We are not anticipating retirement in the years ahead because our heart's desire is to be faithfully serving our Lord when He calls us home!
