The faculty and staff have chosen Romans 15:5-6 for this year's theme
verse which states, "May the God who gives endurance and encouragement
give you a spirit of unity among yourselves as you follow Christ Jesus,
so that with one heart and mouth you may glorify the God and Father of
our Lord Jesus Christ."

Statement for Ankeny Christian Academy:
"The vision of Ankeny Christian Academy
is that our high school graduates will attain an excellent Christ
centered education that will lead them to live both morally and
ethically and will successfully prepare their families according to the
standards of Christ as they assume their adult roles in society and
carry out the principles of the Great Commission."
Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not
depart from it. Proverbs 22:6
The mandate for
Christian education comes from God directing His people to teach their
children diligently the laws of the Lord. (Deuteronomy 6:7)
The Christian school acts as an extension of the family and of the
church to help families bring up their children in the "nurture and
admonition of the Lord" as God has directed in Ephesians 6:4.
Each ACA student must come from a home where at least one parent or
guardian is a
professing born-again Christian.
Ankeny Christian Academy is a
Preschool through 12th grade independent non-denominational Christian
school accredited by the Iowa Department of Education. ACA provides
a college-preparatory
education integrated
with a Christian view of God and the world. Each state certified
teacher is a carefully selected Christian who loves the Lord and
considers teaching a ministry, not merely a job.
