I grew up in Urbandale, Iowa in a Christian home.  I went to church every Wednesday and Sunday when I was little and then was "drug" to church as a teenager.  I accepted Christ as my personal Savior at the age of 7 at a Good News club event, but didn't really understand what a relationship with Him was all about.  It wasn't until I was 21, married and had a child that I began to realize that I couldn't "piggy back" off of my parent's faith anymore.  It was at that time that I really decided to live for God.

I have a wonderful husband, Gary and 3 incredible children; Brittany, Kaleigh, and Daniel.  I have been working at the Academy in some capacity or another since my oldest was in Kindergarten.  ACA is an awesome place and I am so fortunate to have had all three of my children educated here since Kindergarten.

My life verse is Philippians 4:13 which says, "I can do ALL things through Christ who gives me strength."  This has been huge for me because it keeps a person who is a borderline perfectionist focused on Christ.
