Hi! My name is Christy Crown, and I am excited to join the staff of Ankeny Christian Academy as receptionist. 

I received an Associate of Arts Degree in Secretarial Studies from Faith Baptist Bible College.  Also, I worked at Grandview Park Baptist Church as the office manager prior to having children.

With 3 children enrolled at ACA, my husband, Greg, and I are looking forward to a great year - so are Garrett, Grant and Courtney.

In the past, I have been involved with the music program at ACA; teaching flute lessons, playing the piano for choral events, and composing a couple songs to fit concert themes. At home, my children have provided me with an occupation that brings great joy: Motherhood!  Since 1992, I have also taught piano lessons from my home, and I will continue teaching just a few students.

I grew up in a Christian home, and accepted Christ as my Savior at a young age. Romans 11:36 is one of my favorite verses: "For from Him and through Him and to Him are all things. To Him be the glory forever!" This verse reminds me that Christ is the source of everything I do. I live my life from Him and through Him and to Him. That is encouraging news!
