Art Teacher

I’m Nancy Mueller, and I’m excited to be back in the classroom teaching Art and Family Consumer Science.

I grew up enjoying the church I attended with my family. I accepted Jesus into my heart at an early age but didn’t understand or grow in my relationship with Him. While in college and making my own decisions I came to the revelation that I needed a relationship with Jesus and decided to surrender to Him and obey God’s Word.

I live in West Des Moines with my husband Marlon, our two sons and this year, a Chinese foreign exchange student, Wen Shuang Deng (Edward). Jacob is a freshman majoring in business administration at AIB and Andrew is a homeschooled high school senior. Edward is a freshman at Valley Southwoods.

In my spare time I teach piano in my home and watch my sons play basketball.
