Privileged to grow up in a Christian home, I recognized my need for salvation early in life. At the age of three, my parents talked about the mark of the beast in our family devotions. I was not only scared of the tribulation but also that my parents would leave me behind. Not long after that, my parents and I went to a pool where we received stamps on our hands. I was very scared because I thought it was the mark of the beast. There was no way I was going to allow them to stamp my hand, but finally, my mom assured me that it would be okay. Therefore, I allowed them to stamp my hand, but the entire time I was in the pool I tried to wash it off. Not long after that, I asked Jesus to be my Savior. I am glad that as a Christian I no longer have to fear the tribulation or what may be, but can rest securely in the arms of my Savior.

When I turned ten I made the decision to follow Christ in believer's baptism, and at the age of seventeen I committed myself to serve God in whatever way he would have me to. In July 2008 God blessed me with my godly, loving husband Joe together we moved from Minneapolis, Minnesota to Ankeny and are excited to see what God has for our future. I am excited to be working with the three and four year olds in day care and hope that God can use me to plant seeds of faith in their lives.

My favorite verse is Hebrews 11:6 ."And without faith it is impossible to please him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him."
