Hello! My name is Katie Schopf, and I am thrilled be a part of ACA’s ministry.

I was privileged to be born into a Christian home where I heard the truths of God’s Word early and often. Under the faithful teachings of my parents and church family, I knew at a young age how Christ died on the cross for my sins and that I needed to receive God’s free gift of salvation. As I grew older, I began to have some doubt regarding what I could have understood, but after searching out my faith, I was assured by verses like 1 Peter 1:6-9, and I knew God had begun and would continue to work in my life.

With that assurance, I dedicated my life to His will—which lead me to Maranatha Baptist Bible College and a degree in English Education. God has given me a great passion for the language arts, and I am excited to begin my first year of teaching. I am determined to live every day “to the praise of His glorious grace” (Eph. 1:6), and I look forward to seeing God work through this school.
