Financial Specialist

My name is Sherri Moerman and I will be serving at ACA as the Financial Specialist. I come here after having worked in several different accounting and tax related positions and am so looking forward to serving families of God's covenant children at Ankeny Christian Academy!

My husband, Tim and I both grew up in N.W. Iowa and have lived and worked in various communities throughout Iowa. We have called Ankeny home for 3 years now and are members of Crossroads Christian Reformed Church in WDM. Our three daughters are grown with families of their own and we will have two of our grandchildren at ACA this fall. (I came to ACA partly for the fringe benefit of being able to have lunch with them often!)

I was blessed with a K-12 Christian education and admit that I did not fully appreciate the sacrifice my parents made for me and my siblings until I was grown. I knew Jesus already as a young child, acknowledged His sacrifice for my sins as a teenager and have grown to know His faithfulness in more ways as each year passes. I know that He lead me to this place at this time for His purpose and will strive to serve Him well here.

The verse that I claim for this year is Romans 8:28

And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose.

Day by day as we choose to trust Him more, we learn to believe with confidence that God is good - all the time!
