Preschool Teacher Assistant

I grew up in the Bondurant area and now my husband, Gary, and I live in Ankeny. We have a son attending ACA and I work in the preschool part time and love it.

I accepted Jesus as my Savior when I was 6 1/2 years old. Being young when I trusted Christ as Savior, my life didn't change a lot; but I am sure that I was spared many things because of my early decision to have Christ in my life. I wasn't perfect nor am I now; however, I can look back and see how I have grown.

Life truely is a process and the same can be said about being a Christian. I am a work in progress!

My testimony is not what I would say is overly special, but I can say this: Through good times and trials God has been faithful. Even when my husband and I endured eight years of infertility issues, sudden death of a child and ups and downs in our careers, God has seen us through and we feel his presence in our home.

My favorite verses are John 10:27-29; My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall anyone snatch them out of my hand. My Father, who gave them to me, is greater than all, and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand. (NKJV)
