Sixth Grade

In God's mercy I was born to parents who both loved and followed after Christ and desired to teach me to know His Son. It was not until I was five years old I came to realize that I had not accepted the free gift of salvation God offers to all. I did not doubt I was a sinner, but I had not yet come to place my trust in Christ's work on the cross for the forgiveness of my sins and the promise of eternity with Him. I gratefully received His salvation I could have never earned through my own endeavors. I am so grateful for the salvation God offers and for the new life I now have in Him.

A verse God has shown powerfully in the lives of my wife and I is Proverbs 16:9 which reminds us that "The heart of man plans his way but the Lord establishes His steps."

I attended Faith Baptist Bible College and graduated with my Bachelor's in Elementary Education with a general middle school endorsement. I am currently working on my K-8 science endorsement.

God has recently blessed me with my wife Alisha who teaches elementary ELL in Des Moines. We both have a passion for students, camping ministries, missions, and exploring other cultures together.
