Vocal Music

In junior high school I was invited to join a Christian singing group. I had grown up attending church but really knew nothing about having a personal relationship with the Lord – I just loved to sing. After fellowshiping with Christians during rehearsals it became obvious that I was lacking the joy and peace that many in the group possessed. As a result, I asked Jesus into my heart. Throughout the years my faith has grown and developed during experiences such as: attending a Christian college, being a church camp counselor, traveling for three summers with a Christian ministry team – The Continental Singers, and attending wonderful churches where the Bible is taught as the inspired Word of God.

My favorite Bible verse is Philippians 4:6-7

"Be anxious for nothing, but in everything through prayer & supplication, with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God and the peace of God which surpasses all comprehension will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus."
