Home Work Assignments

May 17 - 21

7th Grade - Continuing The Adventrues of Tom Sawyer.  Students were given a handout Monday covering Chapters 24-30.  Homework is to continue reading and filling out questions as they read.  Completing of the handout is not due until Thursday.  Tuesday in class will be be playing marbles(A Tom Sawyer Experience).  Friday - Homework - Read Chapters 30, 31, and 32.  Activity sheet will be given to students on Friday to complete by Monday.

8th Grade - Continuing I Have Lived a Thousand Years.  Monday - Students are to read pages 128-152.  Be prepared for a quiz on Tuesday.  Tuesday - Read Pages 253-175 - Complete handout.  Wednesday - No homework. Thursday - Read pages 191-206   - Complete reading guide.  Friday - Students will be helping with Track and Field Day. No homework for Friday.

10th Grade - Continuing Romeo and Juliet.  Monday - Masks in class.  If students did not complete masks in class, due for homework on Monday.  Also, Be sure to read through Act III.  Tuesday - After in-class discussion and reading on Act III, students are to complete activity sheet.  Wednesday - View DVD Act III.  Thursday - Complete handout on Act III - Hand in on Friday.  Friday Homework - Introduce Act IV - Students Read Act IV, Scenes I, II, and III.

11th Grade - Literature/Realism.  Mark Twain and The Adventures of  Huck Finn.  Read pages452-460 by Thursday.  Tuesday - Students will continue reading assignment, as they will not be in class on Tuesday, but will be on a Social Studies Field Trip.  Thursday, Prepare for literature quiz, Episodes from Huck Finn on Pages 452-460 in literature text, plus notes and discussion on realism as seen in readings.

12th Grade - English Semester Exam. begin 9:00A.M. Tuesday.

Composition - Character Sketch - Composite Character - Ideas Web due Wednesday.  Rough draft due Friday.  Final draft due Monday.
