Elementary Spanish

2nd Grade - Our Bible verse for the month is Juan 1:3. This week we will take a virtual tour of the Dominican Republic.

3rd Grade - Our Bible verse for the month is Marcos 1:17. This week we will take a virtual tour of the Dominican Republic.

4th Grade - Our Bible verse for the month is Salmo 19:1. This week we will continue learning how to tell time in Spanish.

5th Grade - Our Bible verse for the month is Romanos 3:23. This week we will continue learning how to tell time in Spanish.

6th Grade - Our Bible verse for the month is Salmo 23:4. This week we will learn how to tell time in Spanish.

Junior High Spanish

7th Grade - Any students who have not yet said their memory verse (Salmo 19:1) need to do so ASAP. We will spend this week working more with using -AR verbs and vocabulary review.

8th Grade - Any students who have not yet said their memory verse (Salmo 19:1) to me need to do so ASAP. This week we will learn to conjugate the verb Ser and learn to make comparisons.

High School Spanish

Spanish 1 - We are enjoying the company of Miss Julia Rude, our practicum teacher from Grandview University. She will be with us for another week or so, observing, helping me, and teaching a few lessons. This week we will work on the grammar presented in the first half of Chapter 5, especially stem-changer verbs.

Spanish 2 - This week we will work on a reading comprehension project. Later we will begin to review for the Chapter 8.2 test which will be given early the following week.

Spanish 3 - We are enjoying the company of Miss Julia Rude, our practicum teacher from Grandview University. She will be with us for another week or so, observing, helping me, and teaching a few lessons. This week we will watch the next episode of the Novela and work on a reading comprehension project.

Spanish 4 - This week we will do some Bible-based reading and writing in Spanish and explore the hispanic culture of the American Southwest.
