TRACK & FIELD DAY: Track & Field Day is next Friday, May 21st with a rain day of Monday, May 24th. Our First Grade color is yellow. So please have them wear a yelow shirt. Students may wear a hat and bring sunscreen. Please send a jacket if it is cool! We all need a bring a sack lunch so we don’t have to keep track of lunch containers to bring back. Please send them with a water bottle with their name on it to drink during the day. Parents we look forward to seeing you at Track and Field Days! To facilitate the movement of classes to each event, students must stay with their class. Parents are free to encourage their child(ren) and to enjoy lunch with their child(ren). If you have little ones, please get a babysitter, in order to really concentrate on our class or the job given to you.

TRACK AND FIELD DAY: The DK-6th grade classes will walk to Hawkeye Park (next to the fire station) on Friday, May 21, for Track and Field Day. We are in need of parent volunteers to help run the events. If you are willing to help out, please contact your child's teacher. Please have your child bring a labeled water bottle, sunscreen, and have your child wear athletic shoes. Elementary students should bring a non-microwavable sack lunch. The class colors for track & field day are as follows: DK--green, K--blue, 1st--yellow, 2nd--red, 3rd--black, 4th--orange, and 5th/6th--gray. Have your child wear the appropriate color to show class unity! Rain date for this event is Monday, May 24.
PARENTS AT TRACK AND FIELD: We look forward to seeing you at Track and Field Day! To facilitate the movement of classes to each event, students must stay with their class. Parents are free to encourage their child(ren) during the events and to enjoy lunch with their child(ren) at the park. Please keep young non-school aged children with you at all times, so we can keep our primary focus on the students in this event.
