For the week beginning May 17, 2010

I know that some of you were concerned about the numbers for next year in first grade. As of this week, the board has decided to have two first grade classes next year. Mrs. Ellis will be teaching one class, and Mrs. Linda Wiers (currently 5th/6^th grade) will be teaching the other section of first grade. We have had such great enrollment come in already for next year! How exciting to see ACA grow tremendously!!

We will be having a Pajama Party sometime next week, however the day is still to be determined!! I will email everyone and let you know when that exact day is. Don't forget – Field Day is Friday!

Field Day - Friday, May 21. Kindergarten will be wearing blue that day. Many of the students have the blue ACA shirt from Kindergarten round-up last year, so that would be perfect. However, any blue shirt will work!

Track and Field awards will be handed out at an assembly from 2:05-2:50 on Tuesday, May 22. You are more than welcome to come join and watch!

Graduation – We will be sending out invitations to Kindergarten Graduation to all the grandparents listed on the information in the office. If you would like anyone else to receive an invitation, you may stop by the office to pick one up, or you may give the office the name/address of the person you wish to receive the invitation. It will be here before we know it!
